Benelux Tour and BOPLAN® together for a safe race

From Monday 30 August to Sunday 5 September, the cycling peloton travels through the Netherlands and Belgium to fight for the final victory in the Benelux Tour. 

This year, the predecessor of the BinckBank Tour wants to focus on the necessary safety and came to BOPLAN® for help. The necessary safety solutions will be provided on and along the route in order to protect the riders optimally during the 7-day event. 

BOPLAN® is providing a total of

• 50 RACE BUMPERs which act as a resilient buffer between rider and obstacle (traffic poles, light posts, trees, etc.) along the road.
• 20 RACE TOTEMs made of impact-absorbing polymer.  These "super-powered signalling devices" warn riders of potential dangers such as traffic islands and road blocks.
• 200 RACE BARRIERs, specially designed to secure the finish area and dangerous spots on the course.
