Boplan® safety partner of the UCI Para-cycling Road World Cup

This year, from 16 till 19 May 2019, the international UCI Para-cycling Road World championship is taking place in Ostend (BEL)! No fewer than 42 countries participate in this prestigious competition with  about 450 athletes from around the world! The organization entrusts the safety of the various race courses to BOPLAN®.

Three routes have been created for this sports event: the time trial (9km), the road race (8km) and the team relay (3 km). The competitions are divided into different categories (ladies, gentlemen, hand bikes, etc.). More than 50 medals will be awarded during these 4 sensational days!

An event of this magnitude requires a coordinated approach to the security of the various routes. Organiser Isomundo therefore calls on a partner with experience and expertise in the field of safety and prevention: BOPLAN®.

BOPLAN® will provide extra protection for the critical points of the race routes with reusable BOPLAN® RACE BUMPERS. Should an accident occur, they will ensure that the damage is limited.
