Brabantse Pijl with Boplan® safety solutions

The Flemish cobblestone classics are gradually coming to an end and with the Brabantse Pijl, the ideal transition is made to the climbing classics in the southern part of Belgium.
The starting shot will be given at 12:30 pm at the city square of Leuven. From there the race continues via the city Huldenberg in the direction of Walloon Brabant to finish, after a local circuit of 80 km, in the Flemish Brabant municipality of Overijse.
With the upcoming World Championship road race in Leuven (BE) on 26 September, the Brabantse Pijl is the ideal rehearsal for numerous world-class competitors such as Wout van Aert, Jasper Stuyven and Greg Van Avermaet.

To maximize safety for the riders, BOPLAN® RACE TOTEMs are used on the course and BOPLAN® RACE BARRIERs in the finish area. These safety products have already been used successfully on many Flemish cycling classics and are seen as a major improvement by both organizers and cyclists. Their striking appearance (both in size and color) and signalling function prevent accidents. Should a fall nevertheless occur, the impact-absorbing polymer ensures that the risk of injuries is reduced to a minimum.
