World Premiere: BOPLAN® RACE BARRIER at the E3 Saxo Bank Classic

Despite the Corona era, the 2021 edition of the E3 Saxo Bank Classic promises to be another memorable edition!
With Wout van Aert, Mathieu van der Poel and Greg Van Avermaet, the world top of global cycling is at the start of this Flemish classic today.

The safety of the cyclists is a priority and the organization therefore leaves nothing to chance. Numerous RACE BUMPERs and RACE TOTEMs protect critical points and obstacles (center conductors, traffic signs, thresholds, ...) on the course.
And there is another world premiere this year!
Following the successful unveiling in mid-March, the BOPLAN® RACE BARRIER is making its global introduction to cycling today.

The RACE BARRIER is BOPLAN®’s latest safety solution and specially designed for the protection of the finish area of ​​cycling races. The yellow, shock-absorbing synthetic (polymer) screens of 1m40 high protect the riders optimally during one of the most critical phases of the race. Risks of serious injuries are limited as much as possible.
