Dwars door de Westhoek opts for BOPLAN® Safety

Already for the 11th time, Dwars door de Westhoek was organized for elite women on Sunday, June 6. The race in and around Boezinge was good for a Dutch winner, the Lorena Wiebes.

Boplan signed on with the following solutions to make the race as safe as possible:

• Plastic RACE BUMPERS that act as a resilient buffer between rider and obstacle (traffic poles, light poles, trees, etc.) along the road.
• RACE TOTEMS made of impact-absorbing polymer.  These "super-powered signaling devices" warn riders of potential hazards such as traffic islands and roadblocks.
