Tour of Poland gets off to a safe start with BOPLAN® as safety partner

09.08.2021

Lublin will be the setting for the start of the first stage of the Tour of Poland on Monday 9 August. A 216 km long stage awaits the riders, who will eventually sprint in Chelm for the first leader's jersey.

The organisers leave nothing to chance and are strongly focused on safety in 2021. That is why BOPLAN® and the Tour of Poland have joined forces to secure the course for all seven stages.

The following numbers will be deployed in the coming week:

  • 10 RACE TOTEMs made of impact-absorbing polymer.  These "super-powered signalling devices" warn riders of potential dangers such as traffic islands and road blocks.
  • 528 metres of RACE BARRIERs, specially designed to secure the finish area and dangerous spots on the course.

Safety is an unconditional top priority for BOPLAN®. We strive to reduce the risk of accidents to an absolute minimum, both in companies and at events.
